New Button Styles

What the Button Styles do:

Now you can have 3 distinct styles for buttons in Squarespace 7.1!

The 3 styles are:

• Primary

• Secondary

• Tertiary

We recommend “playing” with your button options by having all 3 added to a page for each style and adjust the options accordingly. Button sizing becomes more flexible and robust while using a Fluid Engine page or section, whereas a blog post will default to how much text you have.

Benefits and Tips:

• Create distinctive buttons for special sections of your website (for example booking a service uses a specific style of button, while buttons that link to outside pages use another.

• You don’t have to use all three styles - stick to one or two!

• System buttons inherit the Primary button style, so if you stick to one style, make it Primary! (System buttons appear on blocks like Forms, Newsletter Blocks, Header buttons, etc.)
